This Cookie Policy explains how GrowLinkAI (operated by Future of AI Studio LLC) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website or use our Service. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They let the Service keep you signed in, protect your account, and remember your choices. We also use your browser's local storage, which works like a cookie but is never sent to our servers automatically. We do not use web beacons or advertising pixels.

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Strictly Necessary

These are required for the Service to work, so they are always on and do not require your consent. They are all set by GrowLinkAI (first party).

• Sign-in session (next-auth.session-token): keeps you signed in. Expires after 30 days.
• Sign-in security (next-auth.csrf-token, next-auth.callback-url, and, while you sign in with Google or LinkedIn, next-auth.state and next-auth.pkce.code_verifier): protect the sign-in process against forged requests and return you to the right page. These last for your browser session or a few minutes.
• LinkedIn connection security (li_auth_nonce, li_analytics_nonce): confirm that a LinkedIn connection you start is completed in the same browser. Each expires after 10 minutes and is deleted once used.
• Active profile (glai_active_seat): remembers which LinkedIn profile or company Page you are working on. Expires after 90 days.
• Cookie choices (glai_cookie_consent): remembers the choices you made in the cookie banner. Expires after 12 months.

On our secure site, some of these names carry a __Secure- or __Host- prefix, which tells your browser to send them only over HTTPS.

2.2 Functional

We do not currently set any functional cookies. The preferences described in Section 3 are stored in your browser only when you choose them.

2.3 Analytics

With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the Service is used (for example, which pages are visited and how long visits last) so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets the following cookies:

• _ga: distinguishes one visitor from another using a random identifier. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_<ID>: keeps track of your current visit. Expires after 2 years.

These cookies use a random identifier, not your name or email address, and we do not send your account details to Google Analytics. The Google Analytics script does not load at all unless you accept analytics cookies. If you later withdraw consent, we delete these cookies and the script stops loading from your next page view. Google processes this data under its Privacy Policy.

2.4 Marketing and Advertising

We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers. If this changes, we will update this policy and ask for your consent before any such cookies are set.

3. Local Storage

When you use certain features, we store small preferences in your browser's local storage so they persist between visits. They are saved only as a direct result of something you do, stay on your device, and are not used for tracking:

• theme: your light or dark mode choice.
• onboarding-skipped, onboarding-banner-dismissed: whether you skipped or dismissed onboarding prompts.
• growlink-image-gen-prefs: your image generation settings.
• chat-generated-media-<ID>: references to images and videos you generated in chat, so you don't have to generate them again after reloading. The media itself stays in our private storage.
• chats-export-dismissed: whether you dismissed the chat export notice.

You can clear these at any time through your browser's site data settings.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Apart from Google Analytics (only with your consent), we do not place third-party cookies on our site. When you leave the Service to sign in with Google or LinkedIn, or to pay through Stripe, those services may set their own cookies on their own sites, under their own privacy policies.

5. Your Choices

When you first visit GrowLinkAI, a cookie banner offers three options: Accept All turns on analytics cookies, Essential only keeps only the strictly necessary cookies, and Manage Preferences lets you choose by category. No analytics cookies are set before you choose.

You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the site footer or on the Settings page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop you from signing in.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. If we start using a new category of cookies, we will ask for your consent again before setting them.
